The Cemetery is open to the public 7 days a week from dawn to dusk.
1. United States of America Military and Madison Fire Dept flags are the only flags allowed. All Flags must be in presentable condition.
2. Planting of real or artificial flowers is permitted one foot (1ft.) in front of the headstone or marker and may not exceed the width of the stone or marker. Overgrown or unattended plants or flowers with be removed. Keep in mind that when opening your plot or the plot next to yours anything over the 1 foot will be disturbed. No pebbles or stones are permitted as they will be lost when opening a grave and cause problems for the landscaper when cutting the grass. No other decorations including Ceramic or Glass Vases, Pots are Permitted
3. Boarders must be within one foot(1ft.) in front of the stone. No plantings or borders are permitted in the rear or side of a stone or marker. Sod may be purchased for the plot but must be watered by the owner.
4. Effective May 31, 2025, NO shrubs, bushes or trees of any kind or size are permitted. Any bushes not removed by May 31, 2025 will be removed by our Cemetery personnel.
5. Grave covers (blankets) may be placed for Christmas starting Thanksgiving Day and will be removed by cemetery personnel beginning February 1..
6. Palm Crosses and decorations placed for other religious and National holidays throughout the year will be removed at the discretion of the cemetery personnel when they become unsightly. The Cemetery is not responsible for the maintenance or loss of any decorations. This includes theft, vandalism, or plants eaten by deer, rabbits, etc.
7. No solar power candles or lights are permitted.
8. No Flowers, waxed candles, plants or decorations can be placed in the Columbarium.
